What's on the Dutch snack platter?
Weydeland 48+ Aged Extra-Aged – 400 grams
For the lover of pronounced cheese. Due to the long maturation, this Weydeland has a powerful, full flavour and delicious little maturation crystals that crunch with every bite. Made by CONO Kaasmakers in Beemster and, just like the entire Weydeland range, naturally lactose-free.
Villa Ortica nettle cheese – 400 grams
A creamy farmhouse cheese made from thermised cow's milk, richly filled with nettle, chives, parsley, onion and garlic. After about eight weeks of maturation, it is soft and creamy, fresh and spicy with a slightly nutty hint from the nettle. Made on a family farm in Lopik.
Natural metworst sausage – 200 grams
An artisanal dry sausage from the Twente family business Dreug. Pure in flavour, hearty and with a firm bite. Cut into thick cubes, this is the snack that will be gone first.
Snack platter with three snack bowls – Bowls & Dishes Espuma
A wooden serving board of 46 cm made of European beech wood, with recesses in which three handmade earthenware bowls (Ø 11 cm) stay firmly in place. The playful bubble pattern of the Espuma bowls immediately makes any snack table cosy. The bowls are dishwasher and microwave safe.
