The Villa Roma is a young cheese from the farm. Matured for about 8 weeks, so still very creamy and soft in structure. This farm cheese is made with cow's milk and has an addition of various herbs and spices: Fenugreek, leek, chili, garlic, paprika and lovage! This ensures a delicious, fresh/spicy taste.
Its origin
Cheese farm Verweij in Polsbroek, near Gouda, produces traditional farmhouse cheese using milk from their own cows. The family values pasture grazing, animal welfare, and true craftsmanship.
