Our story
Welcome to Kaas & Borrelz
Already founded in 2024, we are the webshop where you can find delicious cheeses, artisanal nuts, beautiful wines and much more to make your occasion a party. Our story starts with the fact that there is always a need for quality products and especially in the food industry there is a search for a good product, which if possible, is sustainably produced with natural ingredients. We at Kaas & Borrelz see the demand, and decided to start an online platform where people can find pure products, which are full of flavor and possibly produced in an artisanal way.
Quality comes first
The quality of our products is by far the most important. We test the products for their quality, content and origin. Only if all pillars are correct, we include the product in our range.
- Tasty products - We sell premium products, the taste of which must be good and must match expectations.
- Content - The products must be made with real ingredients. We understand that not all additives (E-numbers) are bad, but they must have a function as well as being necessary.
- Origin - Although the product does not necessarily have to be locally produced, it is important that the origin is clear. Transparency is an important condition for the products in our range.
- Craftsmanship - Not every product has to be handmade, but this applies to the majority of our range.
We are convinced that our current range reflects these points, and that it is a guarantee of the quality that we promise. Enjoy your meal!
Shipping methods
A beautiful product is of no use if it doesn't arrive in one piece. Naturally, ensuring a good shipping method is important for every webshop. Products such as Weydeland cheese or grilled sausages are always freshly cut, weighed and vacuum packed. When purchasing every cheese, biodegradable cheese paper is included as standard. In extreme heat we pack the cheese in a thermos box or we can choose to ship the order a day later if the weather is more favorable.
The people behind the webshop
We are the Zuurhout family, consisting of Johan, Jacqueline and Sjors. Together we have a luxury cheese car and we drive to the Veluwe, Gelderse Vallei and the Betuwe where our customers live, work and recreate. Here we only visit our customers on location and therefore never stand at markets or permanent locations. We also partly sell the products that we sell in our webshop to our customers from the cheese car and this gives us demand for products, but also feedback. Due to the continuous demand for products from the cheese truck, we always keep our stock fresh and that is very tasty!
