    Mixing notes gets the best out of different notes. At Kaas & Borrelz we mix, brand, bake and in some cases add our note mix ourselves, according to recipe.     Ab is the person behind the nut mixes. Ab van Kruistum has a lot of experience in the nut industry. After many years of experience, Ab started his own business. At Kaas & Borrelz we exclusively sell Ab's nuts, because they meet the quality and are traditionally roasted or salted. In addition, the nut mixes are also composed in-house for the best taste experience.

    How are notes baked and branded?

    Notes are baked in a frying pan with special oil. When the oil reaches 175°C then the oil is ready for use. They were baked until they reached the right color. When the oven went in it was burned. This is a hasty process only and without oil. The advantage of warming up the notes is that the notes become crisper and richer in taste.

    Using notes as an ingredient

    Notes are versatile in use and perfect as an ingredient. In many cases it smells a little like a snack. Examples are:

    Notes are always packed and treated. Because of the weight we pack it in an airtight container. This is really handy for keeping the notes as long as possible.
